Best thing you can do: hire a professional. You're probably better off focusing on what you do best, which is processing loans, and leave the web design to people who do that best.

There are a number of places you can find help for decent prices. www.elance.com is one I've used before to find a couple of decent designers.

Link development is part of Search Engine Optimization (search engine optimization) - yet another very broad topic. There are a couple of good threads in the forum about this, to help you get started, and if nothing else you may want to check the list of free directories where you can submit your link.

You are right I need to stick to processing loans. I tried to read these different topics and help stuff and I can not follow along. I am barely understanding what a link is. Let alone search engines and such... I seriously am so clueless on this subject. But I am going to read the threads here. How do I submit my link? Where would I go to do that?

Here are a couple articles that might help:

There may be some sites in the list above that are now requiring a reciprocal link or payment for the link, but the majority still require nothing. Submitting a link to them is really easy - you enter information in a form, hit submit, and possibly verify your submission by clicking a link they send to your email address. That's it.

Now, it does matter how you enter your information for these links (or can matter, I should say). The title of your link is what matters, in particular. In other words, know what search terms you want to rank in the search engines for (i.e. "contract processing", "utah mortgage processing", etc) and use those terms as the title for your site.
