Trying to grow my business!!!What's the best way?

Hello all,

I am a newbie new so if this question seems novice I apologize. I am about 1 year in the business now. Started off on the retail side, due to the industry being where it is, was forced to transfer to the wholesale side. Now I am debating how to promote my business here in Chicago, IL. Any feedback would be very very mush appreciated. Thinking of doing a local direct mailer(10,000 mailers) for 220 dollars. Purchasing leads through zipsearch.com or something like this???? Pay per funding.com????postcardmania.com????

Any suggestions would very much help
Thank you for your time.

Steve

Steve:

You'd be best served by TARGETED marketing!

Also, what is your business? You never stated.

Regards,

Lance

I would say if you are a people person you should do that in combination with getting out and intrucing yourself to as many people as you can. Tell everyone you meet what you do.

Exclusive.......

That way you are not in a price war with 3-7 other lenders. At least you hope not and that they did not apply on 3 sites.

Personally, I have never purchased leads in my 10 year career. But, a few brokers I worked for did and exclusive seemed better and gave me more ability to earn money. I cannot be more direct than that as I personally did not purchase leads from a company. But, the broker used loanweb.

I would suggest you read up on basic marketing. Buying leads is a good way to get new customers but the most successful LO's, over time, are those who build a customer base that always comes back.

In other words, buy leads to get things going now but also put things in place now so that these leads you buy end up doing more than one loan with you over the course of your career.

A second piece of advice I would give is to find something that works for you and focus on it until you feel like you're an expert at it, whether that be calling off lead lists, calling on realtors or builders, internet marketing or whatever.

Hope this helps...

This is a great program. Read up this, and I have sent about 11 people to this company over the past 3 years and nothing but success.
