Title charge fee on a $300,000 property in CA ranges between $800-$1000 while a $300,000 property in NY is between $1600 - $1750. Now that's double the profit.

I know the market will dump in the next 3-4 years but people will never stop borrowing money. Besides when interest rates are high, my business increases b/c that's when mortgage companies demand leads. I'm in the right market!!! If you read closely champ - I'm also in the lead business. My business doubled-up in the last 8 months ever since the interest rate rose.

Secret your post is fine but I tend to read less of your posts because they all have a common purpose. "Buy stuff from Secret University"

I think others will agree that they also tend to ignore some of your posts because of the frequent tactics to help yourself out.

Do not take it the wrong way because I know people need to know where to find their training answers.

But, it may be wise to try and chat a little more without incorporating a personal/business benefit to your constant and consistent selling tactics on message boards which will build a little rapport.

Let me ask you this though. I know your stance on posting loan scenarios. What kind of training do you offer to help loan officers not call 15+ reps or to avoid trying to get a quick answer from another lo/wholesale lender engine? In other words your stance has been to belittle LO's who "do not know their job" because they post scenarios?? How does secret university help them not use those 2 methods of placing a loan and how is it supposed to be quicker and more effective than those 2 methods?

Keep in mind I am not one to post many scenarios but I have... I like getting guidelines from the lender and I study them so I usually know more or the equivalent to the rep.
Via our Mentor Program would be the answer to that question Greg, hope you don't ignore my reply because it refers people to my employer. By the way Greg, do you ignore replies from AE's since 100% of their replies say "use my employer!"?

We're introducing Title/Escrow in our product line in 2 weeks.

Live Transfer, Leads Directly from the Bureaus, Credit Reporting, Title and Escrow all in one website. Secret, you might want to sit down in our round table (bring your Board of Directors with you) so you can learn something from us to add in your edu-ma-cational CDs.

BTW, you wouldn't be spending alot of time in forums sites if you're really bringing alot of business (I could be wrong though). I haven't visited here in a while b/c we were busy over the summer... closing deals.
I'm pleased your business is succeeding Carlo, that's great for you!

Explain how the mentor program helps.

I do not exactly ignore them but I just wish you would build rapport a little around here rather than constantly selling secret university.

But, you do what you want. It is not that you are breaking rules or that I am mad or upset. I just really feel some people would like some more in depth examples or revealing 1-2 small tactics that would make someone be convinced to get something from there.

That's really rather simple Greg. Someone engages Secret! University's Mentor program, and they then select from the available faculty members by viewing their Resume's, which one they want to be there own one-on-one personal Mentor to learn whatever it is they want from that specific Mentor (naturally they would have picked one that's already done what it is they want to learn). We've got a bunch of very talented and experienced people on staff.

This particular program of ours, covers anything and everything any of our faculty members have ever accomplished, it's that flexible Greg!

Plus we have a nice Guarantee: "We promise you'll either earn more money and/or save more money than you pay us in tuition from what our Mentors teach you, or the tuition will be refunded to you!" To date we have experienced 100% satisfaction from all of our former Mentor students ... so how can you go wrong?

I strongly believe in the 80/20 rule.

80% of your income goes to bills and necessities.
20% goes back to advertising.

Handling A Rate Quote Request

For me, it's simple. I tell clients that there are several factors that drive what interest rate they qualify for. I just need to as k a few questions and I will be able to give you a better idea. If they insist, then I tell them directly that me giving them a rate without accurate information is like a doctor prescribing medicine without doing an examination. I need to diagnose the situation first before I can provide an answer. So, let me begin by asking this question, what is it that you are looking to accomplish? If they say that they are just trying to lower their rate then I ask the most powerful question in sales ... WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU?
