i agree with greg, that your site is top notch. I know nothing of webhosting so i cant comment on the presentation vs any other site. It looks great though.

But i like the FREE idea, as it will lead to people seeing you 'strut your stuff' and then you will get lots of folks signing up for lessons.

cheers

Thanks again floridaman. In the training & educational area where I am today, I think 'credibility' is very key. Potential students need to trust that their Mentor, or the lessons they pick up, will be worthwhile to them - coming from the source where they are considering. Having them feel they will be dealing with experts is one of the top notch things I have worked on as I have built up this division - that get's revealed by many scores of written testimonials and detailed resumes on potential individual Mentors, in addition to our mission of operating in good faith and fair dealing with our students, which is shown by our 100% money back guarantee on all our services and products.

It is quite common in marketing for "sellers" to offer FREE this and FREE that, and to a small extent we do some of that ... a free CD Intro on Secret! University, a Free discussion board filled with educational materials, information (no nonsense) etc. along with a Free educational monthly newsletter (I don't consider us as a "seller" of anything BTW ... when I take an inbound phone call and I can tell the caller wants me to 'sell' them, I never go there).

I have discovered the individual that's driven by getting something Free, typically hasn't been the one that ends up signing up for anything that has a cost associated with it - maybe not a universal view, but that has been our experience with people looking to improve their careers ... we're not trying to get them to buy a new Oldsmobile!

Coming up next in a couple of weeks greg, we'll be adding a Campus Store -- selling Secret! University branded stuff ... starting off with baseball type caps and sweatshirts ... we're also working on adding Jammies with attached Bunny Feet Slippers for all those mortgage "professionals" who work from home

You rock! Have any logo's to share that will be on the merchandise?

I like the "bunny slipper" idea. I had an old Regional Manager say "I take applications from home in my bunny slippers"

Later he mentioned his good idea's were usually stolen.

Going to start off with text on them at first - we'll have photos up in a a week or so --- waiting for them now. Already ordered many many caps and several (different sizes) of the sweatshirts (they're going to be embroidered, not silk screened).

Yea greg, that Bunny slippers' phrase I started to use on the 'Mortgage Grapevine' 6 years ago, and did it frequently.

Secret, I liked the pre-announcement to build up the event. I have used similar build-ups, basically following Jeff Walker's model for launching an event to a list of clients. Have you been following a marketing plan from somenone you would recommend, or have you been creating the marketing on your own? I'm always looking for good marketing strategy if you have someone to recommend.
