Wachovia could prosper from mortgage downturn: paper (Reuters)

Shares of Wachovia Corp , which have fallen since its $24.2 billion acquisition of Golden West Financial Corp last year, are trading at a discount to its peers and may be a good opportunity for investors, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal's online edition.
