Washington state regulators are investigating whether the president of an Arizona-based mortgage brokerage broke the state's mortgage laws by operating in the state. "Its more clerical errors than anything," one of the individuals named in the state's filing said in an interview with Mortgagedaily.com. He said he was only operating a Web site, and loan originations were licensed through a net branch.
