Subprime Unit Closing
A significant number of Meritage Mortgages employees will be offered positions at another company, according to an announcement Monday. The move effectively ends the subprime company's operations. "We were happy to execute the transactions that we did since they saved us real dollars in severance and shutdown costs," the Ceo of the company's parent said in the statement.
