Subprime Products Boost Referrals

An annual survey conducted by Campbell Communications found borrowers use a mortgage lender recommended by their real estate agent more than half the time. The findings also indicated that lenders with subprime products on their menu are much more likely to make it on Realtors' preferred list, as respondents said the No. 1 reason for recommending a lender is "loan programs to fit nearly any homebuyer."
