Spanish Speaking Borrowers Duped

Mortgages Para Hispanos.Com Corp. has settled with the Federal Trade Commission charges that it offered less favorable loan terms in English-only closing documents than what borrowers were verbally promised in Spanish. The settlement also names the company's president and owner. The mortgage broker must pay a 10,000 dollar fine within 10 days.
