Office Closings, Layoffs at ResCap

Residential Capital LLC is closing facilities in California, New Jersey and North Carolina, a spokesman told MortgageDaily.com in a statement. More than 450 positions are impacted by the moves. Some of the employees will be offered jobs at other locations, while others will receive severance packages and outplacement assistance.
