Mortgage applications rise 3.2% (MarketWatch)

WASHINGTON -- The number of applications for mortgage loans filed with major U.S. banks increased by a seasonally adjusted 3.2% last week compared with a week earlier, the Mortgage Bankers Association reported Wednesday.
