Post Free Fraud Prevention

Verification Bureau Inc. announced that qualified mortgage companies will be given free fraud prevention tools and services on a trial basis. Those services reportedly include tools to spot fake tax returns, identify identity theft and detect fraudulent mortgage applications, verifications of employment or appraisals.

I will review the link shortly but this sounds great.

Sometimes these types of services may reveal a liabilty that might not show on credit but is a lein on title!

Had this happen 2 weeks ago. Judgement was not on credit but came up on "Fraudguard"

Think about it. Waste time on a feal with a judgement that hits you as a surprise when title comes and no funds or equity to pay it.

Possibly 10-20 days of wasted time on a deal that does not close.
