Freddie Suspends Delivery Fee

Freddie Mac had warned its sellers last monththat it would begin charging a 30 basis point post-settlement delivery fee on loans with loan-to-values at 80 percent or higher and indicator scores under 740. But last week, Freddie issued another bulletin indicating it was backing off. "Until further notice, we are suspending implementation of the 30 basis point delivery fee," the latest bulletin stated.
