Frank seeks $300 billion for FHA foreclosure-prevention help (at MarketWatch)

Rep. Barney Frank suggests a plan Thursday to enable the Federal Housing Administration to insure and guarantee refinanced mortgages that have been significantly written down by mortgage holders and lenders.
