Feds, States to Share Broker Data

The Comptroller of the Currency testified before Congress Wednesday. The banking supervisor said Occ has launched a cooperative initiative with the Conference of State Bank Supervisors. The federal banking supervisor and several states will look for evidence of practices that are inconsistent with recent nontraditional mortgage guidance or the pending subprime guidance.
