Brokers Oppose National Registry

The National Association of Mortgage Brokers announced on Friday that a proposed national licensing registry system for loan originators is fatally flawed. The system is sponsored by the Conference of State Bank Supervisors and the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators. Referring to loan originators, the broker group's president said it doesn't make sense to include some originators and not others.
