Greg and Erik - OK. Seriously? I read one of Tom's comments this morning and I let it go... and now he keeps rambling on-and-on. Ok before things get out of hand, this is the law:

No personal attacks and keep things professional. This is what the reputation feature is for here at MBL. If somebody is unprofessional you have two options:

-Give negative (red) reputation (use the scale icon on the right side above a person's info bar)

-Report a bad post (use the warning icon on the right side above a person's info bar)

Only paid members can give reputation, but all can receive. This is intentional so that respectable members of the site are both adding postive rep to good members and warning others about members who need to pay a little more attention to the rules.

If people get too low on reputation they will be banned. Or, if they repeatedly post against the rules, they will be banned. This is a community for mortgage professionals, not children.

We like to joke around here and have a good time, but personal attacks have no place. Thank you all in advance for helping abide by and encourage this simple rule. The site is coming along nicely and you all are a big part of that - let's keep it growing in a positive way.

Midas, just so you know, Carlo isn't a moderator and does not have banning power. He's been very respectful to everyone so far, unlike this new poster who immediately jumped on him. Nobody has been banned to this point, but this thread isn't exactly what I would call professional. Do you disagree?

I'm not sure why you would be offended by a site that allows members to provide feedback to other members through "reputation" and report bad posts to site administrators. I also don't see why you feel like you were "being schooled on etiquet your first post here", since you weren't even involved in this thread until now.

The rules were laid down because those involved in this thread needed to know, quite obviously. If you don't share the ideal of having a professional community as opposed to a kindergarten class, then by all means don't stick around. This is the site for grown ups

Carlo, In my opinion I think you are acting out over something that appears to me to be good intentions.

The 2 quotes you site in your previous complaint post seem fine. Taking my word for it and seems to feel you could be better than he thought before.

I think you may be assuming a few things. That they have bad intentions. I suggest thinking everyone has good intention and can change their attitude based on the enviroment/rules of the forum.

Outpost is a good board. They just have different motives than MBL.

Very interested in your response. Come on buddy these guys seem ok and the post above Eriks sure could have been worse based on your assumptions I feel.

I would feel the same way as he does above.

Carlo we appreciate everything you do here. Be thankful for the opportunity. I am considering using you exclusively in about 2 months and if you had not been given the opportunity to do this joint venture by Erik I never would have even thought of investing in leads. I have done so well without them.

Midas... those are words that paint MBL in a way and that opinion is not accurate. Just wanted you to know that Erik is the admin! His post explains everything.

i came here based on carlo telling me there was no nonsence tolerated and the first day he is getting into it with tom and throwing blows at darin calling him toms dad, then i get an email that says here are the rules and i was amazed. i guess it was a misunderstanding so all is good. everybody deserves a fair chance to prove themselves and apparently carlo did here so why dosnt tom get the same welcome and fair chance? it is obvious that carlo, tom, and darin have some tension between them but this post is about realdealphil isnt it? anyway, ill give this place a chance so as not to be a hippocrit and i hope everything is fixed in 2006.
