You're not anywhere near the fires in San Diego are you?

actually, yeah. the fires are bad in Irvine - really windy here and toward Long Beach the sky is full of ash and real grey. Where are you from? Anywhere close?

Salt Lake. We had some really bad fires a few months ago and had a few weeks that were overcast because of all the smoke that travelled north and west from the fires and got trapped in the valley. The flames didn't get too close to the metro, however.

Anyway I hope the situation out there gets a lot better soon - looks pretty bad.
