Loan A Ranger is on a distinguished road
Brand new and still wet behind the ears

Hello All,
I am brand new to this forum and new to the mortgage biz. I worked in consumer lending for 20 years until entering the mortgage biz last July. I primarily have done refi's working from county clerk leads that I have researched and scrubbed myself. I am a VLO working from a home office. After some research I have decided to hire a professional telemarketing company to call purchased leads and do warm transfers to me so I can free up time and optimize my abilities to work with my clients and structure their loans instead of cold calling for hours per night. I hope this will gain more applications and closed loans. Any constructive advise would be appreciated. Also I may be looking for a new Company to work with that has multi state lending licenses , since my current company has become slow and sluggish with loan processing (Due to internal problems). Any recommendations for other good companys who work with newer aggressive VLO"s with support?
thanks,

Hi Paul - welcome to MBL. I know of some good companies but they mostly are here in the West. Is New York still a difficult place in which to get licensed?

I dont know about the licensing since I am currently working for a broker here, but I would assume its probably not easy since NY makes you jump through hoops for everything you want to do.

Erik (or anyone else) Is it legal to work for two brokers? One who does in state lending and another that does multi-state lending?
