Seriously? I was never so fortunate as to have anything grow in my ear as a kid. Would make for a great story now.

Yes. I put a seed in my ear and I cannot hear so well ever since. It was flushed out because I got an ear ache. I was 4 or 5.

So did you get any photos of you with leaves poking out of your ear or did you have it flushed before it sprouted externally?

No leaves. lololol

It just started to sprout and was irritating my ear. It looked sick when the doctor flushed it. It damaged my hearing though. Have some compassion....

Joking! But, it did. I can hear though.

I'm glad it didn't completely ruin your hearing. It is a funny story though.

Oh, it would have been fun, if it would haven't been so sad! One thing is good - it is possible to escape it! Once I've heard similar story, and the girl get the spider driving her motorcycle. In a few days she felt terrible headache, and it occured that she had the web in her ear!
What about worms in the eyes or under the skin?! It's much more terrible!
