Everyone can give rep, which is basically positive or negative feedback, on any post they either like or dislike. Good insights, valuable information and help solving loan scenarios are common reasons to give positive feedback. Spam, thread hijacking (taking over someone else's thread through a change of subject) and personal attacks are common reasons to give negative reputation.

You just click the scale icon on the right of the post and approve or dissapprove of the post.

But if it is bad then it looks like this

Then you click userCP and you can see your rep.
