florida man has a spectacular aura about
hey paul

i was there with u thru the whole netskrill /lending hope / reel deel wheel horsecrap.

the thing is , it finally DAWNED on me shortly after i joined broker outpost that we make tens of thousands of dollars off of leads. tons of money refi purchase or whatever. Thousands per funded deal for sure.

why the hell would ANYONE just up and give the leads away for basically nothing???? Why not broker the leads yourself -or a buddy ?

Stands to reason they DONT just give realistic leads away. they beat the snot out of every single one, milking it for what it is worth -then discard the other crap as 'leads' to even recover costs on those.

the other scam is to just print out a phone book -scrub it against the DNC -and call them 'leads' and sell em in bulk. There are other scams too.. ....

I even tried a 'test run' with one fairly straight up guy. He gave me 3 leads and i dilligently recorded how they went. 2 were slightly curious but could really care less. The final one was a desperate lady who agreed , but after two months of headaches, her house was such a POS that it was rejected by every lender. I lost money on the appraisal.

Even so, i still thought the guy was legit so I asked him for decent double qualified leads here in florida for $100 a pop. I never heard from him again. He deked my calls and i gave up. I suspect there was no way he was going to be able to deliver.

Maybe internet leads were good a couple of years ago -not so today.

stick to traditional advertising. the initial investment will be well worth it.

i agree tom but right now i need help closing this particular company down. they have been calling everyone they can lately and getting checks then providing absolutely nothing. they took me for $7000 in the past but just 3 weeks ago they burned my friend for $4500 in cash and sent him nothing. i also recieved tons of emails complaining about the same thing. joe at lendinghope needs to be called and demand he refund everyone that they have ripped off their money and get out of the business. his number is 561-577-5144 please call every agency you can think of and complain about them.

Then you would face criminal charges and what exactly would be the consequence for them? Insurance replaces with new buildings?

LOL just pointing out the old burn em just is not so great of an idea. Figure of speech I know...

Or were you hoping to catch them locked inside..?? ;-)

Florida man - sounds like you are jumping the gun way too fast. Not every lead company is like that. I know there's a lot of money to be made per loan funded but unfortunately for some of us (lead provider) the stress is not worth it. I am more amp'd to get paid residually than a quick big chunk of change. Some people are just like that.

LOL. It was a test run! You got the lead for FREE so who are you to judge. You sound like Tom Descular in BO that wanted leads for FREE (all the time) then had alot to criticized when he didn't close any. Guess what? That Tom guy got booted off BO. It's a numbers game... maybe it's not the lead that suck.
