I'm moving on

The words of my favorite Rascal Flatts song comes to mind as I type this post.
I've dealt with my ghosts and I've faced all my demons
Finally content with a past I regret
I've found you find strength in your moments of weakness
For once I'm at peace with myself
I've been burdened with blame, trapped in the past for too long
I'm movin' on

I've lived in this place and I know all the faces
Each one is different but they're always the same
They mean me no harm but it's time that I face it
They'll never allow me to change
But I never dreamed home would end up where I don't belong
I'm movin' on

Moving on,... ah yes. after a year with my current Mortgage Company and lack of support from the main company and many branches throughout Northern California, Im moving on.

I still question whether I am making the right choice, but it appears I really have no choice at this point to back out since I already met with the new mortgage broker owner and have the go-ahead. Yet, I have not informed my current employer. Hopefully my contacts and lenders will keep Millenium 2000/Total Quality Mortgage reputation when I call them in since the 2 companies have a great reputation and in high standings with lenders. If your lender likes you, they like you for your work and handing in a file thats all prepped and closing in 15days or less.

But on the other hand, my new mortgage broker is pushing me towards getting my real estate liscence, (as if there wasnt enough R.E.A.'s). The new company is very promising in what they offer, Mortgage Broker, Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate, and in the works for property management.

In the year at my current employer all year it was 50/50 split commision with the broker. With the new boss. first 10 files is 50/50, 11-20 files 60/40 and after 20 it caps at 70/30 split. I can live with 70%. heeh and for the first 3months, the boss is purchasing leads to get me going, and my current Agents that I worked with under the other company are staying with me regardless of where I move cuz they like how I work. (honestly i think its cuz I take them out to sushi bars and getting drunk off sapporo and ichiban, or the meetings at PF Changs)

I'll keep you guys posted and hopefully I will be better off. if you dont see me on for a while, its cuz Im studying to renew my liscense or working on my real estate liscense OR working on clients files. hehe but I can always be reached via AOL & Yahoo messenger at MartinMtz702

-smell ya later!

Good luck with the move, Martin. When everything is official you should let us know who the new shop is and how you like it "post-move".
