I like it. I prefer regular vs bold text, just because it's easier on the eyes for some reason - but it doesn't look bad the way it is. The font still comes out cleanly when bold so it doesn't make reading more difficult.

Thanks Erik. It is not near where I want it to be but for now I am pleased with the results versus the time invested.

I think I am going to play with the font and the colors later. I want to get the content done.

LIH still get's traffic I saw. I went on there last night.

Ok linking is moving along. I cannot get my site editor to allow the java code for google ads though. grrr. I am going to have to do it manually.

I wish the engines would hurry up and index my page. I might have to email them like I did last time. They jumped all over it. MSN was like we are so sorry and we value you business blah blah blah. Amazing how nice they are though with all the submissions they get.

My home123 site generated over 35% of my business this year. It was a totally unlinked sub-domain with no Search Engine Optimization. I worked on it the way I needed too and made it generate all of that. I should add up the revenue and see. It has generated all of my out of state business. Well, other than the referrals from those people but that still is a result of my site.

This site so far is 5 hours of work. I am going to redo most of it next year to target the markets I am aiming at. It is so basic and general right now.

I will give you a tissue ;-)

I really do not pay any attention to sites. I test things on my own and watch how it affects my rankings. Too many speculatives posting on forums and making their own blogs saying do this and that.. Forget all those opinions. I will eventually try out some of the same stuff that helped on the home123 page.

Well, I have both boards up and most of the content just needs tweaked and modified for Search Engine Optimization.

Have you ever tried typing the longest page you can of the word "mortgage" to see if you rank? lol I want actually going to try it just for a laugh.

Just be careful - those little experiments, while fun, can get your whole domain banned from the engines. Then it's several months of work to get back in, if you can manage it at all.

But hey if you're going to try it I want to see how it works out.

Yahoo Sponsored Link was added today. This is 1 search where I found myself. I tried 1 time with 1 keyword and top result.

50 total keywords.

Sorry about this particular keyword Erik lol. :-)
