Talking Working at Home Originators

Working at Home Originators

We have a new educational & training CD Lesson in development titled Working at Home Originators. I want to give this lesson we're preparing a different slant than others we've produced, in that I would like to gather opinions from YOU for inclusion in it – a little R&D.

There are both good and bad reasons for working in a home office, which I want to explore. Many of you who provide your opinion and some insight, will be considered to receive a free copy of it, when it's finished in a couple of weeks.

Your candid views will be appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds interesting. But people who help you out with info for the CD only get "considered" for a free one? Why would someone want to donate their time to your commercial venture if you aren't going to at least provide a copy of the final at no charge?

Come on Secret - I bet if you give every contributor a free copy you'll get much better response.

I agree! At least for them to listen in to a LIVE Conference Call that pitches your product. Give us some sort of a teaser, i.e. listen to your voice, product sampler, beneficials, etc. Have you ever heard of Val Smyth? He does a good job by getting everyone in a conference call and selling his motivational products.

Send me a free copy of your CD and I'll be the judge. Believe me, I will do my homework and give you my honest opinion. I did it for Kelly Girard with GoldCalling, let me do it for you.

Thanks,
Carlo

I understand your views. However, I have this request other places on the Internet and didn't get this reaction. I guess I won't get to many comments from MBL then.

What I have seen others post have been their opinions as to the PROs & CONs -- so that could be a start for you too Jim. Also, I am anxious to learn how you manage to fully comply with the GLB Act at home

Hi Secret,
As far as GLB I handle it as I would if I were in an office enviornment. My home office is an actual office complete with locked files. My home office location is registered as an official brance of the corporation. And ALL files both closed and not closed are transferred to corporate where they are electronically scanned into the server and destroyed.
As far as some pros and cons are concerned at least for me are.

PRO- My daily commute is about 3 seconds
CON- I need to get out more
PRO- I save a ton on gas
CON- My wife gets to drive the nicer car now
PRO- I get to spend more time with my youngest daughter
CON- Sometimes I need more adult conversation
PRO- I get to spend time with my grandson that we babysit
CON- See above CON
PRO- I don't have to deal with office politics all the time anymore.
CON- Sometimes office politics creates a competative enviornment
PRO- I don't have to deal with whiney loan officers anymore
CON- I really miss training
PRO- Very little overhead
CON- More for the wife to spend

If you have particular questions that you would like to know please ask and I will respond. I am your open book
Jim

Secret! has a spectacular aura about
Talking IT's Finished!

We just completed adding a new educational and training CD Lesson to our catalog. It's titled Working at Home Originators 101 and it explores the positive and negative sides of working in a home office; along with some compliance issue recommendations and other suggestions.

In addition to the input from our faculty member who authored this lesson, much of the information was donated by members of this discussion board and two others as well - so it's real time info.

If you're thinking about maybe working from the house, this CD is definitely for you! Take a look at those we have available, visit our website today. To pick up this particular one, it's located on the third page of the CD Lessons.
