As an Account Exec always trying to get new business and brokers to sign up, I seem to always be faxing or emailing submission covers, fliers, and broker packages. I was looking for a way that Brokers could access this info quickly and on their own. Our company website does not have this available at this time.
My solution was to purchase a domain name from GoDaddy and create one of their free web sites that had this info available to brokers. I also have contact info, forms, and a basic forum (nothing like this of course) just something for brokers to introduce themselves.
I am currently working on the site to improve it but would like to hear from you the brokers on what you would like to see on a site from your A.E ie current specials, promos, fliers, etc...

Jim,

I would definitely suggest you make the website look professional and user-friendly. Are you making it yourself or hiring a firm to handle the design? I know there is some great software on creating your own template for under $100, a well established firm will cost you $500 and up.

Hi Brian, Doing it myself. GoDaddy offers this as a free service for buying a domain thru them. I can pay a premium which I will do in the near future that will take their banners off (the price you pay for free is they get to put their banner on your site). I really did not want anything too elaborate that is for the brokers trying to sell to the public. I just am looking for something simple, short, and sweet that brokers can go to for contact info, forms, and quick Q&A type stuff. WOW thanks thats a good idea, put a Q&A section based on various loan scenarios. You are good Brian.

Jim - I have my moments. How about an FAQ section also to post some of those questions and your responses to them? Maybe also make your "Forms and Docs' section more proncounced.

I think your logo is excellent.

Hey Florida Man, I am getting hit real hard in the upper midwest (MI, IN, OH) losing lots of products, loan sizes real low. MN cant do Stated anymore.
But in FL we are still racking it up and going real strong in FL, MD, MA, GA, and TN. Send me some of those FL loans and lets make us some $$$$$$$$$
