All Direct Mail Is Not The Same

If you do direct mail right now I would bet you're getting a .5% response (more or less). You may think it's higher, but that's the average for a mortgage marketing piece that is done by a marketing company.
The reason your response is so, well, average is that you're doing what everybody out there is doing:

Tear-offs/Snap-Packs
Single or Double Window Envelopes
"Rush/Overnite" Express Envelopes

All of which are easily recognizable to consumers thus rendering your mailer ineffective even before the message is Delivered.
