Being a MortgageBrokerLandian is not just about selling all the time. What can you do to earn people's trust in this community? Loan Officers have been burnt and lied too many times and that's why their guard is up when someone throws them wild advertisements regarding on leads. BTW, "Don't waste your time asking dumb questions" is not a perfect way to introduce your business.

OK, how about this... We won't waste time asking dumb questions but in return post 3 of your referrals on this thread and make sure you include their name (of course), company name, phone number and the most important info - their address with zip code. In that case, we can research it to rest assure that its a real mortgage company that exist in the area. Not just your referral's cellphone number but their actual work number so no substituting your friends as the referral.

I know... It's always good to give something in the beginning and eventually it will come back to you in ten folds down the road. I've always been a big fan of creating something from scratch then once it grows... it feels good b/c you were apart of the growth. I remember when I started GetLeads Network 3-1/2 years ago, I used to get the phone slammed on me when I pitched my leads to my prospects then eventually I found a way to work it right (take care of your customers and the business will take care itself). Now, I enjoy traveling and meeting my clients in person... it's fun!!!

Mark, help MBL succeed and it will take care of you. You won't see me pitch my product on the threads that much but members see that I contribute and that's what keeps my phone ringing... and keeps me traveling.

Here's my opinion and my experience when it comes to selling leads - If someone wants to know about the leads... F****n pick-up the phone, call them and talk to them personally - Nothing else beats the power of Human Communication. Don't post stuff on the thread thinking that someone will just whip their credit card and buy leads instantly. Most L/O's can determine a supplier's reliability from the tone of their voice... Is the lead supplier confident about his/her leads? Does he/she sound fishy on the phone? Did the prospective buyer get his/her questions answered? Does he/she understand how the leads are generated? Does the introductory or voicemail greeting sound like a real company?... These are a few of the most asked questions from my prospective clients.

How long have you been doing this? I do suggest you post some people you have done business with. It would help solidify you as a good lead provider.

You made some typographical errors. You can edit your post and correct.

Everyone makes great points. I suggest you "get to know" the board a bit so we can learn more about you.
