Back when I was an AE, before lenderama was a blog, I used the page to help my broker/clients with downloads for loan submission forms, lock sheets, etc... I also started a page called the BIG List of Mortgage Links. The list was the only holdover to make it onto the blog. It linked all sorts of vendors for mortgage brokers like Web Designers, News, and Closing Services. Anyway, the page recently grew to over 300 links, some of the old links had died, many other vendors wanted me to add them, and I just didn't have time to edit the HTML every time a change had to be made.
So, I set off to build a new Big List and had an idea to utilize the Live Bookmarks feature in the Firefox web browser. Basically, I designed an applet that loads onto your browser, and displays all of the links in your bookmark folder.
But wait, it gets better. The links are RSS embedded. When I find a new website to link to, your bookmarks folder will update the list automatically. The bookmarks also include the latest news headlines, industry blog posts, and even recent post from right here on the MBL Forum! All of it updated at least every hour.
