National Appraisal Management Company

I am co-owner of a new appraisal management company (AMC) that offers national coverage and competitive pricing. The company is Perimeter Management Solutions based out of Atlanta. As an appraiser and former lender myself, I understand that using an AMC is not the ideal way to submit appraisals orders since direct communication with the appraiser has always been the standard. The upside is that our goal is to limit the amount of time you spend searching for appraisers, allow you more time to generate new business, and keep you compliant when the HVCC becomes law. Yep. It will help people be protected from Mortgage Fraud. I have already been deling with this at a few lenders. It is costly and slow. I hope that these 2 issues can be resolved soon.

We have set our system up to be as efficient as possible with turn times of two to three days. I do believe that in the coming year the cost for appraisal will have to go up on a national scale given the reduced fees that go to the appraiser coupled with higher operating costs. Our fees are set at the current average for each region and we are taking a smaller percentage so the appraiser is justly compensated for his work.
