Hey guys its been a while and I need some help

I haven't had the chance lately to help out the newbies on this site and give some good advise on some scenarios. I just got laid off from Accredited Home Lending Retail side for production. I think I knew it was coming because Accredited can't refinance properties with in 5 years of their last ref( can someone back me on this) in Rhode Island. We are the only Rhode Island branch and just lost our license in CT. All we had were desperate customers who had no where else to go and we would close them no problem but charge them mostly 6 points on each loan. Real demanding job. I left on good terms so I have multiple references.

Now let me get to my point? I am looking for a new job and are willing to locate. I have been in the business for almost five years. All the details are on my resume but the one weakness is you're not face to face and figure out of some of these resumes are bogus.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks. I will send you a copy of my resume and cover letter if you are interested in young 24 year old veteran of the mortgage business on retail and wholesale. Thank you.

Sorry to hear the bad news Brendo. I'm pretty sure Greg mentioned Home123 is hiring all over the country. I know I've seen plenty of ads here in Salt Lake for them - so you might check them out and/or ask Greg for more info. Good luck to you while you are in transition.

looks like im goin to domestic bank. They gave me the best offer. All of the other companies were too far of a drive(all deep in Mass). Very good offer. I'll keep you guys updated. I highly recommend Careerbuilder.com for a tool if you get laid off. It was amazing how many phone calls I got once I put my resume on it. Great free tool.

Good luck, it stinks to hear of good people being displaced by what has become of our industry.

We pulled out of Rhode Island. Ironically, despite all the woes here recently, the sales force is still growing.
