Greg and Secret!... I have an idea

We should have a LIVE Conference Call once a week to get everyone together. Every week we should have a different guest speaker...i.e. Let's say one week we'll have Secret pitching his product, then the following week I'll be the guest regarding leads, then the following week Greg's hot tips in the loan origination, etc. Have a 5-10 minutes for the guest to speak then have questions and answers afterwards.

This way we are letting our MortgageBrokerLandians know that there is a real person in the other side and it will bring everyone a lot closer than just posting messages all the time. This is a good way to keep everyone active.

Erik, Greg and Secret! What do you think?

Isn't it Wizard? I am sooo much more of a phone person - it builds character and much better relationship. It's good so MBL is just not another forum... it becomes more personal.

Yeah it would be cool but serves the same purpose as posting. I constantly get calls from visitors of the forum or guests just seeing me post and I deal with a pipeline that is rather large. This month is not so bad. I have 23 working now and usually float around 40-60 apps pending.

Not sure that I could handle any more of a commitment.

I moderate 3 message boards.

It would be completely "optional" of course - for those who want to particpate on any given week. I may be able to put together a chat room as well... I'll have to check into that.

We could use a netmeeting which would link us all to the hosts pc with chat capability.

Netmeeting is included with nearly all versions of windows.

Maybe I will do a few as a special guest.
