What's the difference between you and ATG processing?

Well, I've never heard of ATG processing so I can't tell you the difference. What I can tell you is I've had 6 years of experience, mainly subprime, and I'm switching to process from my home office, but before I make the move I need to line up some brokers/l.o.'s. I've worked for Long Beach, BNC and New Century as an Account Manager but processed before that and am currently processing now.

Hello Contract Loan Processor,

Nice to meet you. I am not sure where you are but I can tell you our main office is in La Habra, California. Our executive managment has over 37 years experience, with all kinds of loans, Prime, sub-prime, construction, hard money. Holding positions from loan originators to underwriting to corporate trainer to escrow to management.

Since you have not heard of us allow me to fill you in on ATG Processing Inc. The founders of ATG Processing Inc. wanted to give loan originators any where in any situation the access to processing only reserved for the highly funded national lenders where processing plays a major factor in their success. With that in mind we created four levels of services. WE are not your boilerplate contract loan processing company we have decided to set the bar of expectations higher just look at our level IIPlus and level IIIPlus.

I will welcome anyone who is considering using a contract mortgage loan processing company to view the different levels of service we can provide at our website www.atgprocessing.com. Once you see what a true business partner can do for your company you will make the correct decision in regards to your processing.

Have a great day!

I've seen ATG Processing in several forums but I don't recall seeing your company in any. BTW, if you've been in biz for 6 years then why are you still using sbcglobal as your e-mail domain and what is your website address?

Mr. contractloanprocessor, please don't take this as an attack but these are just questions that I'm preparing you for the MBL members. I'm sure it will come about if someone is interested in your service.

Thanks,
Carlo

Contract Mortgage Processors available

Hello....I am also a contract mortgage processor with over 6 years experience. I have had the opportunity to work in all aspects of the mortgage industry and also the experience of working with a "Mortgage Processing Co" (not ATG). I find that using a Independent Mortgage Processor has great benefits to the smaller brokers who are looking for a processor who will establish a strong relationship with them and truly work to help the Broker succeed. ( I am not digging at the larger Mortgage Processing Companies, as some are quite capable of providing all the needs of Brokers. ) I have been afforded some great opportunities to work with Mortgage Broker Associations, and have seen the need for truly "knowledgeable" processors in the industry. I know several very good and experienced processors who work for themselves (without all the bells and whistles like big websites and fancy email addresses), and have achieved great success and long term relationships with their brokers, also capable of providing any level of service that a Broker may need.

I wish you luck getting out on your own. Please email me if I can be of any help to you. There are always Brokers looking for processing services.

I agree there is a good size need for contract mortgage processors even the one to two man shops. Yet small shops can handle only so much, no matter how good they are. The best processor I know could only fund 140 per month.

I do feel that they do need to conduct themselves like they are running a real business meaning the proper licensing and insurance to protect themselves and the brokers they serve. It has nothing to do with the websites and the email addresses, yet if they are not willing to pay for a proper email address are they willing to pay for the licenses and insurance? Most people who will not pay to look professional will not do what is required to be professional. Since you have worked with PAMB, I am sure you have heard a few of the guest speakers at the seminars that state "get a professional and real email address, professional business cards, etc.". ATG approaches contract processing as a business, not a game. As professionals know that without the proper licenses and protection (insurance) you are putting yourself, your company, your client, the lender, and the borrower all at risk. "The Bells and Whistles" as so referred to are not bells and whistles they are proof we take what we do and what are clients do very seriously. Were in business to do business.

I agree as far as running it as business. In regards to licensing, not all states require a processor to be licensed in order to work as a contract processor, or may require specific means of compensation to be in compliance of the state law . A contract processor should be well aware and verse in the Mortgage laws of the states they plan to process in! In regards to insurance, I agree that a contract processor should be insured to protect themselves.

I also would encourage any Broker seeking the services of a Contract Processor or a Processing Company to fully investigate them before sending them any files. Look at the history of the processor/company, look at the resumes of the processor/company processors, look into other business affiliations either has. The Broker needs to be well informed of whom he/she is working with and sending their files to.

Gee, I can think of a great place a client could start their research. They could start by going to the company's website.

Clients feel better if they know you cared enough to put a website together. If you don't want to spend alot of money, the company could do it themself or hire a college student.
