IMC has been worked exclusively with a Experian since 2002. We have signed a contract with them back in 2002 to be there only reseller of a particular type of database, "Advanced Select". There are couple other companies that have access to it (Wells Fargo, Sears, GMAC), however they use it for internal use only. We have been in the lead providing business for over 10 years now, we have tried every data source out there, the Advanced Select is by far the best there is. Data is the most important part of marketing when it comes to mailers, telemarketing, or even cold calling. There is no way for a company to have good results with bad data; the two simply don't go hand and hand.
Now about the Target Event program:
Target Event, is a new program developed by Experian and IMC. It is hybrid of triggers and telemarketing. Trigger leads, moral or immoral is the hottest thing in the industry now. A lot of companies are jumping on the bandwagon before they even research what a trigger actually is. Just because someone "triggers" doesn't mean the homeowner is interested in speaking with a mortgage company. From our research in developing this program, we are finding that only 2-3% of triggers are actual qualified interested homeowner's. This is where IMC comes into play; we act as your buffer to get you just the 2-3% and at the same time weeding out the 97-98% of unmotivated homeowners who have no interested at all. This allows mortgage companies to be in touch with the most interest people in the industry.
How the program works:
·First, we work with Experian's Pre-screened Homeowner Database to build a targeted list. Experian monitors homeowners that have 50k minimum loan balance, 10k or more in rev. debt, fico’s 525 and above, and 12 month seasoning on mortgage.
·Experian is looking for an event to take place with the homeowner. There are 4 different types of events that are monitored; homeowner goes 1 x’s 30 on their mtg, if they go over their credit card limit, if they have had a mortgage inquiry, or if they have a bank or credit card inquiry
·Once an event takes place with a homeowner; Experian forwards their information to IMC. We then start calling on your behalf to produce homeowners that have been pre-screened and have a sincere interest in speaking with your loan officers. We have two of our representatives speak with each homeowner before it’s sent to you. The first rep builds the profile and builds your 1003.
·The homeowner is then transferred to an independent third party, Quality Control Department. Q.C. plays one of the most vital roles, they confirm the interest. They ask the person to explain, in their own words, why they want to get a call from a loan officer. We intentionally have the homeowner tell us why they want a call back rather than just ask if they want a call back. This will eliminate people who are just not interested in talking to you or who were just too nice to say “no” to the first rep.
·f you’ve used telemarketing leads in the past and had a problem with prospects telling you they never wanted a callback or told the telemarketer they were never interested, this is the step that will eliminate that type of problem. We will also record these calls in order to make sure the lead was validated properly. Also you will receive up to 4 different phone numbers for the homeowner (home, work, cell, and etc.).
·When you receive the profile, we will provide the Experian Credit Score so you’ll know what that is upfront. We’ll tell the homeowner to expect a call specifically from your company today and we’ll provide you the lead within a matter of minutes.
·All leads are exclusive. We never resell them to anyone. The cost of the program will vary based on the number of leads you purchase and the states we do the calling in.
