Why do most quit?

Why do most LOs quit in this field? Is this field SO tough that LOs ONLY succeed if they have luck on their side? Or is it a numbers game (call enough cold calls/leads) where someone will do well if they are consistently hitting it hard?

Assuming a newbie learns the business (how the process works), is there a good chance of succeeding if there is a solid, consistent prospecting work ethic all year, every year? (Also assuming they treat their customers good)

My thoughts are that the ones who quit do so because are a lot of people slacking off when they should be working.

Your thoughts?

most LO's quit because they think its easy. if it was easy, everyone would do it. but they try. and they fail. only the people who deserve it, make it.
what do i mean by deserve it? they have paid the price of success. and i dont mean success equals money. if you have a lot of money, that doesn't make you a success. but the vice versa is true, i think if you are a success, money will follow. earl nightingale said it best. "success is the realization of a pre-determined goal."

#1) Lack of money
#2) Lack of training/mentoring

Anyone can do it and do well at it. It is a numbers game too. I think training is #1 because it results in lack of money because one does not even know where to start to make it.

Some here how broker A golfs all day and has an assistant because they have been in the industry and have built all kinds of relationships.. They do expect it to be that easy so very true. Some say it is too hard...

I like "Only The People Who Deserve It Make It" Well said..
