Lightbulb Who is elegible for credit repair?

If you pull a credit report and see ANY derogatory items with at least 6 months since the date of last activity,
submit the client info on your portal page (Click Here For an Example).


This does two things

a) If you are not able to get them into a loan, or they feel the interest rate is too high if you can, we can be one step ahead of the game and get them approved at the rate they are looking for faster, increasing your bottom line

b) If you already have them approved and they are satisfied, send them to us anyway. If we can raise their score and save them a few points on their mortgage, wouldn't they want to refinance with you? More money on a refinance--repeat business!



When you get email notifications that your client as been updated, ensure to check to see what has been updated, what has been deleted/fixed, and if you feel that their score might have been improved.

Proper followup is the key and will keep your client loyal!

Credit Repair

I agree in the importance of credit repair I have a credit repair letter to dispute derogatory items for clients at no charge. I just ask for there business 30-60 days letter after the derogs fall off. This is easier than most people think google Fair Credit Reporting Act and you can find free letters to use. I think this is a great service for borderline clients but I do not believe in referring them to a third party for a $200 or $300 fee when you can do it yourself for free and get referrals.

Sending letters may be easy but there's still value in specialized knowledge which can help with how and when letters get sent. That's what you pay for, imho. Kinda similar to hiring a Realtor vs selling a home FSBO.

A2Z ... I always think it's funny when I hear someone say "I have a credit repair letter." =) This is NOT easier than most people think. Do you really believe that the bureaus do not already know the format of googled credit repair letters?

Knowing the specifics of the ever-changing laws is crucial. Now if you knew the ins and outs of the laws and had years of experience doing this work day in and day out you could possibly get the same results. We have extensive knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and we know how to maneuver around the credit bureaus stall tactics. Similar to what Erik said, they could represent themselves in a court of law, do their own taxes, and sell their own homes. But they hire attorneys, accountants, and realtors everyday to get the job done most effectively and as fast as possible. We provide a service that helps them save much much more money than the fee we charge, which is much lower than your commissions and closing costs. =)
