What's the purpose of wholesale reps - Page 3

It continues to be a dead-tree paper publication to this day ... only a small portion of it is on the Internet. I have been connected with that paper for several years Greg; knew the founder well and today know the Editor & publisher personally. They're a great organization! Been quoted in it, had articles written about my company in it, spoke at conferences for them, which they sponsor ... all together - probably 1000 times over the years. Still have a nice steak dinner with one of their execs about every 6 weeks, and they sponsor one of our classes with free subscriptions to our students.

The paper's Founder (Stan) I met at a convention many years ago; we hit it off.

Their newspaper is not online Greg, it's sent via US Mail, I get it still every Monday ... cost something like $400 a year I think

Actually Greg, as far as paying for industry publications are concerned, that's about normal - I think I have 3 or four like that I get.

I do all I can for now Greg. Writing our newsletter, writing for 3 others and a handful of industry publications now and then - besides commenting here and there inside various discussion boards, keeps me as busy as I want to be - from a "providing information" side of things.
