It sorta reminds me of someone that I know that went to UVA and graduated with a 4.0 GPA but has no common sense when I comes to making money. He knew the cashflow but doesn't have enough ball$ to gamble. Sometimes learning the hardway is the best way to learn. And the only way to experience the hardway is by actually doing it.

for someone that screams alot about training thousands of commercial bank, consumer finance companies, federal savings bank, large mortgage bankers and blah, blah, blah.. it still amazes me how you could spend so much time on a bunch of forum sites advertising your business. where instead you could just invest in MBL or PPC Ads to drive prospective clients to you. I love search engines and for someone that spends a lot of money into it... I consider myself as someone that is quite knowledgeable in the internet marketing arena. When I type Mortgage Training in any of the search giants, I don't see you anywhere. Sure, I see you when I type Secret University but that's easy and FREE stuff.

I have a lot of clients that ask me where they could get a good mortgage training. I have sent them to MortgageBrokerTraining.com or Maverick Mortgage Broker (Mike Miget) because I see them spend money. I see them all over the internet and I'm assuming if they can spend money on advertising, they can afford to teach anyone. People are image driven, you should know that for someone that lives in Orange County, they will only follow you once you've shown them the "Bling" (sort of a word Carlos would use). Honestly, I don't see why would anyone spend time sitting in a class listening to someone that spends alot of his time in forum sites to promote his business. To me, that's a cheap skate way to run a business. Sorry so direct but I'm originally from the EastCoast and that's the way we are - we say it like it is.
You have made many statements here, I'll try and address a few of them. First off, your view that I frequent discussion boards to advertise Secret! University is totally inaccurate - my purpose for spending the minutes a day on boards, is so I can keep a feel for what their members have on their minds and what they have to say ... sort of a way to keep a 'feel for the streets' you Easterners might say.

Your narrow concept that the term "mortgage training" in your favorite search engine doesn't turn up Secret! University, simply reveals you haven't seached the phrases we have optimized our website for. For every discussion board click through referral to our site in 2006, we received more than 10 times that number from 3 of the organic search engines - I am pleased with the quuality of our website traffic and conversion ratios.

I especially enjoyed your childish cheap-shot about the amount of time I must have on my hands to read these days in semi-retirement - 'plenty' I can tell you ... I read fast and comprehend plenty.

Far as you referrals to other industry training facilities ... I'm sorry to see that, so I guess we're not friends/pals ... that's OK by me. If I needed another friend/pal, I think I would buy a dog.

Hey Secret!

As you can see, I'm too busy closing deals instead of spending time on forum sites everyday trying to make believe on "How well they know the industry". Obviously you don't know too much because you can't even spend $600 to purchase a banner ad in MBL. You can say whatever you want, "Blah, blah, blah... I've done this and done that and I don't need to spend money on advertising b/c I have blah, blah, blah.." then prove it. Put your money where you mouth is and take a break from spending too much time on forum sites. Look above this thread and see who appears there occassionally. I didn't respond to your last post b/c I knew it was an invitation to a forum altercation so I ignored it. But after leaving a comment like that... then rest assure you'll hear back from me.

I haven't heard any referrals from anyone about your service in here nor in any other forums. You've wasted so much time sitting infront of your computer preaching about the mortgage industry but yet, you have nothing to show for.

Put up or shut up... here's a link and I'd like to see you shut me up by showing everyone that you really are successful like what you've been posting in other forums, http://www.mortgagebrokerland.com/advertise/. Common' Secret!, it's only $600 and mentors like you should be able to spill that kind of money like water. LOL.
