Erik has a spectacular aura about
Rules & Tips

Until now, MBL has operated almost entirely in a state of Laissez-faire, with the general rules of "be professional" and "don't spam". However, it's time to make a few more rules, as a method of improving the board experience for all our members, though the expanded rules will still be based on the initial principles of MBL.

Be Professional.
Personal attacks, insults, name calling, and other like behavior is not welcome and may result in restricted access to the site. Threads that turn into "post wars" or "flame wars" will be closed.

Don't Post Ads Where They Are Not Allowed.
There is only one place ads are allowed - in the "mortgage services" category. Responding to posts in threads that fall under other categories, with the main purpose of promoting your site, product, or service counts as an ad and is not allowed. However, you are welcome to mention your site, product, or service in your signature line, which will be shown on all your posts (if you so choose) so you can still make a meaningful, non-ad reply to a post and have your link appear in your signature. Violating this rule is the quickest way to get you banned because it is extra work for our volunteer mods who help clean up the board.

Signature Rules.
Your signature, which you can edit in your control panel, can contain just about whatever you want. You can have a favorite quote, your contact information, something about what you do, etc. These are the limitations:
  • 1 (one) link maximum
  • Nothing offensive, unprofessional, or inappropriate

I may add to this list, if necessary. Overall, the vision for MBL is to have a professional environment that is conducive to increasing productivity. Professional doesn't always mean formal - we like to have fun here, too. Just be respectful and you'll be all right.

Enjoy!

Thanks for understanding. I think you should change your user title to "King of all Mods".
