Yes, sir I am new to being a mortgage broker but not new to the industry. I am currently a wholesale account exec. and have never done retail. A good friend has told me to consider hanging my license with him and working as a mortgage broker. I am nervous because I have never done it. Dealing with mortgage brokers is a lot different than dealing with the general public. I don't know how I will get leads and the pay is much better if it is my lead vs. one that they give me. I haven't said yes yet and need to work for my current company because I need to make sure to have a lead generation system in place prior to leaving. Also, I have to see the terms. I currently have health insurance benefits and it is very important to us.
