networking anyone?

hello im a loan originator in connecticut,also licensed in florida mass and maryland...im always looking for other brokers that might want to network themselves and co-broker deals in different states...anyone out there?

jonnyd, probably the way you'll work your network will be a RESPA Section 8 violation. Be careful and be sure you understand the individual State laws and this RESA section clearly - since MOST 'co-brokering' across State lines is unlawful

I agree, I was a compliance officer for a company that wanted to co broker in Ohio and found it unlawful under 494 last year, check it out again, but tread lightly on it

chris. I still hold my licence in Ohio, and have a bunch of correspondence banking licences thru apex. I only do my small territory of florida now.

i am with secret. STEER CLEAR of co brokering schemes. I would be glad to point you in the right direction with an Ohio loan, but for free only......
