I just closed a loan with Meritage that needed to close by Thursday to keep within that 60 day window..so yes they do use for 60 days. They do pull their own credit in addition to, I believe mainly to see that no large debts have been taken on in the meantime, but they used my report as far as credit score requirements.

There is no method in question here though secret. The post is questioning who will do 60 45-60 day old credit. Not whether it is ethical or not. Your post does not help the poster find what they are seeking. But, I respect what you are saying and agree with it. It is one of those things lenders allow that ends up resulting in a bad loan sometimes.
