florida man has a spectacular aura about
investors

Good morning. I hope your weekend is going well.

I have been trying to do some research into a not often talked about subject.

Instead of taking my borrowers to a 'sub prime' lender , who just unloads it immediately to an investor group, how can we just find these investor groups ourselves and save the middle man.

any suggestions ?

thankyou

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly, but the main reason why brokers need wholesale lenders is because when loans get sold in the secondary market or on wall street, they are sold in huge chunks as mortgage-backed bonds.

The "investors" you hear about buying these loans are actually mutual funds, corporations and sometimes deep-pocketed individuals with a seat on the exchange. I don't think any of them are interested in buying single loans here and there from small brokers. Plus, someone has to service the loan and I doubt any investors want to do that.

florida man,
Are you an investor who purchases homes or a mortgage broker? Sounds like you are the Client from your first post. I am curious.
