Smile How is business in your state

I was wondering how its going for everyone so far this year.

Here in Central Florida, things are going so so. Its a big switch from Ohio .
In ohio, i would get 10 -15 calls off a 2500 piece mailer. Everyone wants to refinance. I noticed though that the LTV for most of them was always over 80% , and quite often 100% or even more. I couldnt get a good refinance percentage off of it. It was tough to help folks. I was constantly fighting rate sheets to see what 'max LTV ' i could get given the score and mortgage lates etc.......

But in florida , its the opposite. Everyone is sitting at 50 even 40% LTV , but for the same 2500 mailer, i get 3 -5 phone calls. However, my funding rate per inquiry is humongous. Around 1/2 the calls i get i fund.

Whats going on in your area?

maybe 2 months ago it was raking it, but lately it seems to be leveling off quite a bit. Not to mention Orange and Osceola county have brokers and loan officers about a dime a dozen, seems like every other person is one....my neighborhood alone I have about 9 other brokers in a 10th of a subdivision. Isn't that crazy? How is it in Brevard? I have a friend that goes in that area quite a bit who's just starting out as a l.o
