General Question

Good morning all, I would like to know from you professionals, what exactly do you look for in a title company? For example... are you most interested in turn time, around the clock closings, attractive AE=), attention to detail, "perks", online updates, customer service, area coverage? What is it that makes your decision happen?

Thanks for all your input.

George

Personally, the most important trait anyone I do business with from Appraiser, Title, A/E, A/M, etc. can possess is competence. It's hard enough spending all day "problem solving" without having to educate someone else on their craft

Running a contract mortgage processing company, my concern for my clients is that they use a title company that has competent people who excute, when they say there are going to excute.

Thanks for the input guys. Unfortunately in my business I run into all types of "professionals" I have had some loan officers tell me "Title Insurance is a scam" and others outright ask me "How many ball games are you going to take me to?" Others have asked my, "what's my split?"

I'm hoping there is still a core group of serious professionals out there for me to solicit. Well it's a big country and I have alot of work to do. Thanks again for your replys and I look forward to more.

George

Ditto on Gloat's statement...

The sales people and reps I could care less about. The people on the inside are what counts and if there is a problem I would hope the owner knows the basic principles of customer service and taking action right away.
