Run it through DU. If Findings say income must be supported by a paystub, a telephone confirmation of employment, and a W-2 from the prior year "or" by a Standard VOE(1005) FULLY COMPLETED, but keep in mind underwriting can ask for pay-stubs, w-2's, or tax returns at their discretion. I did not have luck with this on a Union worker though. One Underwriter said they would have accepted it, but Union workers are laid off alot and receive W-2's from each job site, even though they work for the Union.
