Actually, I was hired on as an assistant to the district manager and learned the rep position through a different process than many people do (and I feel it was VERY advantageous). I'm not sure how familiar you are with World, but they've always sort of marched to the beat of their own drummer and done their own thing. The longer I'm in the industry, the more I realize how bass ackwards my company is and I LOVE IT. That difference is the reason we are the ONLY S&L left from the big S&L fiasco in the 80's, and why we will ALWAYS be here - we have watched the demise of so many huge companies that everyone said would be around forever (1300 federally insured S&L's failed between 1980 and 1995). Guess who is still ticking...
